We recently bought our home knowing we wanted to have the backyard redone. It was covered in dyed mulch which was a complete nightmare. When we started looking for vendors, we had several companies come out and got a variety of answers of what was possible or not, and also how long the process would take. They all had delayed response times, and odd requirements that were really off putting.

On a whim we reached out to Install It Direct to get yet another option. Man we are glad we went with them. Steve was great and quickly turned around a rendering and captured our vision almost to a T after our first conversation.

The shinning star of the entire project was Troy, from day one we knew he was understood our vision and had our best interest in mind with every decision we had to make. He checked in with us regularly, kept us abreast with everything happening and whenever an issue arose (which were all minor and expected) that we were presented with pros/cons for each solution. He made us feel like we were a priority and that he genuinely cared about the outcome.

All in all, it was a great experience. We love our new yard and would highly recommend IIT and Troy to anyone. They were able to make our dream backyard come to life.

Very happy with the job they did on my backyard with pavers and turf. I thought they were fair on the change order when extra drainage issues came up. Took a little longer than scheduled but there were good reasons for that. I thought the project manager Troy McMillan was outstanding and the installation quality was great.

This company was fantastic for my backyard project, extremely organized from start to finish. I worked with Steve right away, who led the design and provided various options while being considerate of our budget. He was transparent throughout, ensuring my wife and I felt no pressure. Steve stood out among others as our advocate, leading me to choose them confidently.

When the project started, I met Ramon, our onsite lead; Nick, the foreman; and Patrick, the project manager. Initially, I doubted their two-week timeline, but they completed everything in just 8 days.

Ramon was onsite daily at 8:00 AM with his team. He patiently answered my questions when the project manager was unavailable and always communicated clearly. He checked with me before discarding anything during demo, and his attention to detail showcased his pride in their work.

Though I had limited interaction with Nick, his role was clearly vital, as Patrick and Ramon communicated with him regularly, which I appreciated.

Lastly, I cannot thank Patrick enough. While Steve set the bar high, Patrick exceeded it. He met with me almost every morning to discuss progress, patiently adapted to my change orders, and instilled confidence in both my wife and me. He promptly addressed concerns and established clear plans. I’m incredibly grateful for his dedication.

We had artificial turf and a lighted outdoor staircase installed. Communication was perfect. Workmanship was excellent. Job done on time at reasonable cost. They will definitely be hired for our next phase, a sitting area with fire pi and outdoor kitchen. Very highly recommend

I needed a retaining wall between me and my neighbor’s property that was about 6′ X 150′ long. I had four companies bid on the project. Install-It-Directs proposal was far superior to the rest. The gentleman that came to my home took detailed measurements and answered all my questions, he did not try to upgrade the project into something I didn’t want. He came back about a week later with three plans that were very detailed with exactly what I asked for. We set a start date and the project manager and crew were there at 9am sharp to start work. Threw out the project the crew was always there on time and the project manager always let me know what were the expectations for the day. The manager and I talked multiple time daily and if I had any concerns they were always taken care of. He was not only very technically skilled individual but a good diplomat working with my neighbor who was very reluctant to have the wall built at all. In closing I would highly recommend this company.

This is the third time Install-It-Direct has done work on our property and they are just as good now as they were in 2010 when they did the first project.

Rich, Patrick, Cosme, and crew understood that it was a painful but necessary decision for us to comply with the State’s AB 3074 Zone Zero. Plans were drawn up and a meeting on site that included a very thorough walk-through of the project was done several days before the start date so there would be no surprises. They listened and answered every question.

We are very pleased with what they did and how they did it. There was daily contact with Patrick and Rich while the work was being done and they have stayed in touch to make sure we are happy with the project. We are.
