The natural-gas fire pit and the gas line feeding the 20-foot outdoor kitchen fall under a City of Carlsbad gas and plumbing permit, quoted separately from the gas-line scope, while the line-voltage electrical conduit run under the paver base falls under an electrical permit; the low-voltage landscape lighting does not. Because the build included an 18-inch gas trench, DIG Alert (811) utility locating was required before excavation. No HOA was documented for this property.

The work moved from concrete removal and site prep into drainage and utility routing, paver installation, wall and fire-feature construction, outdoor kitchen work, turf, lighting and finish items.
