Project Story

Overview

IID completely renovated this Fleetridge pool deck with over 2,200 square feet of premium Angelus pavers, custom bullnose coping, artificial turf accents, and integrated outdoor kitchen , transforming a dated concrete deck into a resort-style entertaining space.

The Challenge

  • The existing concrete pool deck had visible cracks and deteriorating surfaces that made the space look dated and potentially unsafe
  • Water pooling issues around the pool area created maintenance headaches and limited the usability of the outdoor space
  • The disconnect between the old concrete surfaces and outdoor kitchen area made entertaining difficult and the space feel disjointed

What Changed

The transformation created over 2,200 square feet of premium paver surfaces with integrated artificial turf accents, replacing cracked concrete with a cohesive outdoor living environment. The new 3-inch drainage system eliminates water pooling while the custom bullnose coping provides a seamless transition around the pool perimeter.

How INSTALL-IT-DIRECT Helped

The homeowners were dealing with an aging pool deck that was becoming an eyesore rather than an asset to their Fleetridge home. They envisioned a seamless, resort-style outdoor living space where family and friends could gather around the pool and outdoor kitchen without worrying about cracked concrete or water issues. IID designed a comprehensive solution using premium Angelus pavers in two complementary styles , Paseo I & II for the main deck areas and Holland pavers for accent borders and circulation paths. The team engineered custom bullnose coping that married perfectly with the pool shell and integrated 3-inch drainage lines to eliminate water management issues. Now the family has a stunning 2,200+ square foot entertaining deck that flows seamlessly from pool to outdoor kitchen, with artificial turf accents that stay green year-round and surfaces that handle both wet pool activities and evening dinner parties with equal style.

Over 1,000 five-star reviews and 1,500+ San Diego homeowners served.
