Overview
Set 533 sf of Angelus Courtyard Combo pavers across the Bonita driveway and walkway, then dropped 926 sf of SiteOne Turf1 Rye synthetic turf across the front and side yards. Concrete demo and site prep handled in-house. Eight working days from demo to handoff, with a uniform front-yard surface that resolves the cracked-concrete and patchy-lawn pairing.

The Challenge
- The existing concrete driveway was worn and visually dated at the front of the property.
- Patchy natural grass left uneven coverage around the front-yard planting areas.
- The side yard needed a cleaner, more stable surface for everyday access.

533 square feet of Angelus Courtyard Combo interlocking pavers replaced the worn concrete driveway, and 926 square feet of SiteOne Turf1 Rye synthetic turf replaced the patchy natural grass across the front and side yard areas.

The Plan
Paver layout: Angelus Courtyard Combo 60MM units installed across the driveway and entry approach
Turf selection: SiteOne Turf1 Rye, 72 oz. total weight, 1.5-inch pile height in Olive Green/Tan blend, selected for a residential front-yard appearance
Weed barrier: SGW weed cloth installed across the turf footprint beneath the synthetic surface
Infill: SGW Green Sand with antimicrobial treatment, broomed into the turf pile after installation
Perimeter: poly board edging installed along turf borders to hold the synthetic surface edge
Side-yard finish: synthetic turf continued into the side-yard access area for a consistent, stable surface

The Build
The old reinforced-concrete driveway broken out and stacked for haul-off, the front yard stripped to bare soil before base prep.
Demo and Removal
The crew demolished the existing reinforced concrete driveway and removed existing sod and surface materials from the front and side yard areas.
Grading and Base Prep
Subgrade was excavated across the paver and turf footprints. The driveway base was graded and compacted, and bedding sand was screeded across the driveway footprint ahead of paver installation.
Paver Installation
Angelus Courtyard Combo pavers were set across the 533 sf driveway and walkway area, creating a defined hardscape transition between the garage, entry approach, and turf zones.
Turf Installation
SGW weed cloth was laid across the turf zones. SiteOne Turf1 Rye was cut and fitted across the front yard and side yard, with poly board edging and SGW Green Sand infill installed to complete the turf surface.
Finish and Cleanup
The installation was cleaned up, remaining materials were removed, and the finished driveway, entry approach, front turf, and side-yard turf were prepared for regular use.
